Lauderdale Intl Airport) by Thursday, February 1, 2024 afternoon, as there may be a pre-cruise briefing and group activity that evening.  Transportation will be available for purchase from the hotel to the Port Everglades Cruise Port the following morning.

Please note that your flight into Ft. Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) should arrive one day prior to the sailing date to avoid any delays that may cause you to miss the ship.

For your return trip home on February 5, 2024, flights must depart after 12:00pm from the Ft. Lauderdale International Airport (FLL).

On the first day…

For the first day of your cruise, pack a small carry-on bag with your travel documents, a change of clothes, bathing suit, workout clothes, and any medications you may need. That way you don’t have to wait for your checked bags to arrive in your stateroom.

Onboard attire…

Shorts, t-shirts, slacks, trousers, casual skirts, blouses and sundresses are all perfect during the day, whether indoors or out.

For lounging by the pool, pack two bathing suits (an extra suit in case the other is wet) and a pair of casual shoes (e.g., flip-flops, sandals, sneakers). You’ll also need some casual shorts and a couple of t-shirts or a cover-up for getting to and from the pool areas.

If you’re planning to visit our onboard fitness center, be sure to bring extra shorts, t-shirts and socks that you won’t mind working out in – plus a pair of tennis or running shoes/sneakers.

Dinner attire…

There are two distinct types of evenings onboard: casual, smart casual and formal.

Suggested guidelines for these nights are:

2 Casual Nights: Sport shirts and slacks for men, sundresses or pants for women.

1 Formal Night: Suits and ties or tuxedos for men, cocktail dresses, gown or dress pantsuit for women

Remember, shorts, T-shirts, and bathing suits are not considered appropriate attire in the dining rooms at dinner. Casual dress dining is available nightly in the Windjammer Cafe. And be aware you’ll also need smart casual attire for some of the specialty restaurants.

For the safety of our guests, the following items are not allowed onboard and will be confiscated upon being found: Electrical Transformers, Coffee Makers, Candles, Clothes Irons or Steamers (Hair/Curling ok), Illegal Drugs, Flammable Liquids and Explosives, such as fireworks. For security purposes, we also recommend not packing any valuables (such as jewelry) in your checked luggage.

Alcoholic beverages that are purchased in ports-of-call or from shops onboard will be stored by the ship and delivered to you on the last day of the sailing. Alcoholic beverages seized on embarkation day will not be returned.

Guests are not allowed to bring beer, hard liquor, fortified wines or non-alcoholic beverages onboard for consumption or any other use on boarding day or while in port. Alcoholic beverages seized on boarding day will not be returned.

Guests wishing to bring personal wine and champagne onboard may do so only on boarding day, limited to two (2) 750 ml bottles per stateroom. Additional bottles of wine beyond two (2) bottles that are brought onboard or any alcoholic beverages purchased in ports of call or from Shops On Board will be stored by the ship and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of the sailing.

Security may inspect containers (water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, luggage etc.) and will dispose of containers holding alcohol. Guests who violate any alcohol policies, (over consume, provide alcohol to people under age 21, demonstrate irresponsible behavior, or attempt to conceal alcoholic items at security and or luggage check points or any other time), may be disembarked or not allowed to board, at their own expense, in accordance with our Guest Conduct Policy. Guests who are under the permitted drinking age will not have alcohol returned to them.

Note: All guests must comply with TSA guidelines for transporting liquids.

VOOM is the name of Royal Caribbean’s high-speed Internet service, the fastest Internet at sea.

With the installation of VOOM, you are no longer confined to a specific location on the ship to have connectivity. You can now stay connected from the comfort of your own stateroom, while you lounge by the pool and all around the ship.

VOOM is 6x faster than any other Internet at sea! For the first time you will be able to stream music and movies, upload pictures, video chat with family and friends using FaceTime or Skype, check your email, look your stock prices, surf the web and stay connected with work.

Royal Caribbean is the only cruise line with high-speed Internet at sea. Whether you have your phone, tablet or laptop, VOOM allows guests to stay connected. VOOM is available onboard all ships, fleetwide. Each one of our VOOM ships gets its signal directly from a satellite beam dedicated to our ships that orbits close to the Earth allowing us to offer fast and reliable service.

The cost of VOOM varies by the number of devices and the service package purchased, and the ship and sailing date.  Please see the below link for more information:

Royal Caribbean International cannot accept guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy by the beginning of, or at any time during the cruise or cruisetour. All guests are required to sign a health questionnaire at check-in to ensure they are aware of our pregnancy policy.

All of Royal Caribbean International ships operate on a “cashless” system, meaning your boarding card, (also known as your SeaPass card), will be used as a charge card to make all onboard purchases. Normally to activate this SeaPass® account, most guests provide a credit card, (American Express, Optima, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Diner’s Club), to have these purchases charged to at the end of their cruise. Additionally, the SeaPass system may be activated with traveler’s checks, debit cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo, or cash.

A running tab of all your purchases will be kept under separate folio numbers for each guest and an itemized statement left in your stateroom the night before disembarkation. If you provided a credit card and there are no discrepancies, the amount will be charged to your account on the morning of disembarkation. If you have used traveler’s checks or cash to activate the account, you will need to settle the account at the Guest Relations desk, (to either receive a reimbursement of the unused amount you originally left or to pay the balance of what you have charged over the amount of what you originally left).

Please note:

We require guests to place a deposit if they are paying for their SeaPass account with cash. There is a $500 daily limit on cash accounts for 7+ night sailings and $300 for 2/3/4/5 night sailings. Once the daily cash limit is reached, we will call the guest and inform the guest that the limit has been reached.
